I stopped by the local Verizon store yesterday and they had just gotten a fresh model in of the new Casio G’zOne Boulder. I had to ask the lady to go in the back and get it because it wasn’t on the shelves yet. I took a look and I was very impressed. It is water resistant at 1 meter for up to 30 minutes, shock and dust resistant, has an integrated flashlight, digital compass, GPS, Mini SD card slot, as well as everything else you would need in a phone. I would never get rid of my iPhone, but I definitely wouldn’t mind having this as a secondary phone for when I hike, camp, or go out on the lake. If you need a tough phone, this might be the one for you. They come in black and orange and run about $130 after a 2 yr. contract.
