There is a new feature that helps preserve your incoming links by rewriting your permalinks and issuing a search engine friendly 301 redirect.

Jeff Johnson is one of the underground internet marketing gurus and an expert on blogs. It would be great to check out the plugin. Note that you need to get on his email list to get the plugin, but all the content I have seen on his blog is great so that should not be a problem.

Founder John Newton, who co-founded Documentum, discusses the reasons for Alfresco’s creation in this this video. Certainly this is interesting for veterans of the document/content management space - why don’t content management systems grow as much as the optimistic internal estimates? Everyone has content, everyone has an information sharing problem. That seems to be what corporations are doing - enable people with knowledge, spread it to all, but be able to manage it correctly. The management of corporations is the management of information. Enable people, and give them the right information, and they will make the right decisions , perhaps?
